Tsun Ming discovered her love for painting while living as a child in Hong Kong. There she was identified by one of Hong Kong's master painters, teaching at Chinese University, as an exceptionally gifted student, and upon whom he devoted significant time and effort in bringing out her talent. Her work was then greatly influenced by Western media and technique when she came to the United States in the late 1970's, and she began to explore watercolor and pastel as a means of expressing her passion for color and natural subjects.
Tsun Ming has continued to learn under the guide of several teachers in the Boston area, expanding her range of communicating her feelings about nature. She has studied at the major art colleges as well, building on her technique and approaching these art forms in new and creative ways.
Tsun Ming teaches workshops and private students in the three media presented in this website, as well as displays her work in art shows throughout the year.
